＊특성 : 
 요리에 쓰이는 허브 중에서 가장 대표적인 것으로 들 수 있다. 

 

 밝은 녹색, 향나무와 아주 닮은 섬세한 잎을 가지고 있다. 30cm 정도의 크기로 자라고 보기에는 파슬리와 아주 닮았다. 

 그러나 아니스와 같은 아늑한 감미를 감춘 독특한 풍미는 파슬리로는 도저히 대용할 수 없다.


 

＊파종 및 재배: 
 1년초로 파종후 2개월째부터 수확할 정도로 성장도 빠르고, 겨울에는 온도만 유지하면 일조량이 적어도 

 

 성장을 잘하는 재배하기 쉬운 허브이다. 화분으로 실내에서 많이 재배되며, 봄과 가을에 잘 준비한

 지면, 화분, 재배용기에 10cm 간격으로 직파한다. 반음달과 습지를 좋아하므로 여름의 직사광선과 건조는 금물이다.

 이른봄에 파종하여 물과 그늘을 유지해 주면 여름중에 몇 번이나 수확할 수 있다. 또 8월에 파종하면 9월말과 10월중에 수확이 가능하다.


＊이용 :   

 파슬리보다 섬세한 향으로 프랑스 요리에서 애용되는 허브이다. 야채나 어패류의 수프에 맛을 내기 위해 사용되며 

 

 드레싱, 버터, 샐러드에 첨가 하거나 장식용으로도 사용된다. 
 진통완화에 소염작용이 있어 벌레 물린데 바르거나 목욕제, 습포제로 이용하면 상처나 염증을 치료하는데 도움이 된다.​
