특성
①국화과 씀바귀속의 적색 치커리로 농가에서는'통치콘'이라 부른다.
②지중해 서늘한 기후대에서 잘 재배되는 품종으로 아름다운 장미빛과 은은한 쓴맛의
독특한 쌈거리채, 샐러드채이다.
③적색잎과 백색잎줄기로 색상이 뚜렷해서 식욕을 돋우며 잎이 부드러워
생채로 먹기도 좋다.
수확이용
①잎을 따낼 수 있는 트레비소(적치콘)보다는 결구시키는 통치콘에서 특성이 잘 발현된다.
②육묘기간 25일을 넘지 않도록 육묘하여 정식 후 70-90일째에 수확한다.
③상품성의 기준은 결구 높이는 20-25cm 안팎, 폭은 5-7cm정도, 포기무게 250-300g이다.
