일반적인 소개 및 특징
여러해살이 화초로서 겨울철에 지상부는 말라 죽으나 뿌리는 살아 월동한다. 

재배하기가 아주 쉬우며 겹꽃으로 꽃의 색이 풍부하다. 

크기는 1.5cm 정도며 1포기에 20~30송이의 꽃이 계속 피어나며 무리지어 심으면 장관을 이룬다.

재배방법
가을 또는 봄에 일찍 파종한다. 

본잎 5~6매시 아주심기를 하며 꽃이 진 후에는 꽃대를 잘라주고 퇴비를 주어 다음해에 하름다운 꽃이 피도록 해야 한다.
